Ms. Shamsiah's illustrious career in education spans over three decades, encompassing enriching experiences in both Hong Kong and Malaysia. Her expertise extends across international and national curricula, reflecting her dedication to nurturing young minds. Her journey at Sri KDU Primary School commenced in 2004 as a Science and Mathematics teacher, a role she excelled in before earning a well-deserved promotion to Head of Academic & Assessment for Lower Primary in 2009. Her leadership qualities shone brighter when she assumed the position of Deputy Principal in 2013, and today, she proudly serves as the Principal of this esteemed National Primary School.
With a degree in English Language (Hons) and a strong foundation in English Literature, complemented by a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Ms. Shamsiah's educational background is as diverse as her career. As Principal, she wholeheartedly leads and supports the teaching staff, placing a particular emphasis on fostering Teaching and Learning excellence. Her tireless efforts include nurturing their growth and development through the school's Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program, which operates tirelessly throughout the year. What truly sets her apart is the alignment of values she shares with her dedicated senior leadership team and the teachers, all committed to enriching the lives of children and creating a better world.

Ms. Shairina Begum embarked on her teaching journey as a secondary school educator in Singapore, accumulating four years of valuable experience before joining Sri KDU Primary School in September 2003. Her primary focus has been on teaching English Language to the lower primary students, a role she has embraced with dedication and enthusiasm since her inception at the school. Her remarkable journey has seen her progress into middle and senior leadership positions within the school, culminating in her appointment as Deputy Principal in 2021. She fosters a culture of collaboration amongst educators, aligning with the school's mission and vision. Furthermore, she actively assists the Principal in the formulation and execution of academic and assessment policies, school operations and overseeing the continuous improvement of teaching and learning standards.
She is a fervent advocate for teacher development, mentoring educators to create inclusive and nurturing classroom environments that empower young learners as critical thinkers and problem-solvers. She holds values such as integrity, professionalism, mutual trust, and respect in the highest regard, considering them essential qualities for effective leadership.
Apart from her career in education, she is also an enthusiastic music lover who finds solace in listening to various genres. She enjoys her time in the kitchen, cooking, baking and delighting in creating culinary masterpieces. These hobbies reflect her meticulous attention to detail, qualities she brings to her role as an educator, where she harmonizes diverse teaching methods to enrich her students' learning experiences.

Mr. Adli is an experienced and conscientious educator and librarian who has had the privilege of working in several private schools. With eight years of valuable experience as an educator, he is widely recognized for his approachable and affable demeanor. Mr. Adli firmly believes that success can be achieved by anyone who maintains discipline, respect, and a deep passion for their studies. Furthermore, Mr. Adli is an avid enthusiast of reading and researching information pertaining to history, patriotism, and motorsport. His commitment to acquiring knowledge in these areas demonstrates his dedication to self-improvement and a well-rounded understanding of various subjects.
Mr. Adli's extensive experience in education and his dedication to continuous learning make him a valuable asset in any academic or library setting. His passion for knowledge and commitment to fostering success among students reflect his unwavering dedication to his profession.

Ms. Adzlia or some of the students know as Ms. Lia, obtained a Bachelor of (Honours) in Business Administration from the University of Sultan Zainal Abidin. She has always been passionate about teaching, and she will make sure students are excited to learn in her class. She is skilled in developing and implementing effective lesson plans, assessing student progress, and fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Ms. Aminah Shukor is an experienced educator who has devoted herself to the field of education for nearly three decades, with teaching experience in various private schools in the Klang Valley. Throughout her long journey, she has demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching the Malay language, inspiring students' passion for learning, and creating an engaging classroom. Ms Aminah Shukor also understands the importance of nurturing good character in the younger generation. Ms Aminah believes that, as a teacher, she must serve as a role model for her students by exemplifying strong moral values. Additionally, she acknowledges the ever-evolving landscape of education, especially in an era that emphasizes science and technology. Therefore, she constantly strives to stay ahead, keeping pace with the times and developing herself in the field of teaching. Ms Aminah's dedication as a progressive and scientific educator ensures that she not only keep up with the changing times but also endeavors not to lag behind in the dynamic profession of teaching.

Mr. Azahari is an amazing teacher and person. He has been teaching in Sri KDU Primary School since 2004, and before that he was a bank officer. He is known for his exceptional teaching skills, his fantastic sense of humor, and his dedication to his students. Mr. Azahari's humour is a powerful teaching tool. He uses it to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere where students feel at ease expressing themselves and asking questions. This positive environment enhances the learning process and helps students retain information more effectively. Despite being physically challenged, Mr. Azahari is an active and adventurous person. He is a committee member of the Little People National Organization of Malaysia and the Jati Diri Welfare Association. He has climbed several mountains in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. He also enjoys diving and has an Advance Open Water Diver certification from PADI. He also likes to cycle and has cycled in Singapore, Indonesia, and Thailand on his folding bike. Mr. Azahari is an inspiration to his students and to everyone who knows him. He is a living example that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

Mr Benjamin Asudas Paul has been a teacher at Sri KDU Primary School since July 2009 and that has been a glorious 14-year journey and counting. His teaching journey began way back in 1996 and it has been close to 27 years that he has been teaching children, ranging from kindergarten up to secondary school. He is a locally trained teacher who graduated from Open University Malaysia (OUM) and obtained a bachelor’s degree in education, specialising in TESL. He strongly believes that learning is a life-long pursuit and therefore he is presently pursuing a master’s degree in education in Asia e University (AeU). Teaching English has always been his talent and passion ever since he was in secondary school. He prides himself as an educator who injects humour and physical comedy in his lessons to keep his students engaged, entertained, and looking forward for each of his lesson. Firm, yet funny, is what he goes by as he is also a discipline teacher since 2011. As a triple-threat, i.e., singer, dancer and actor, Mr Benjamin Asudas Paul has always loved the performing arts and jumps at the opportunity to train students in singing, dancing, or acting. He also takes to the stage with ease at the drop of a hat and is an ardent performer himself. He relishes self-improvement and takes to social media as his way of getting informed and staying on par with the new generation, as an educator. Fun fact - Mr Benjamin Asudas Paul has an advantage in the languages as he is a polyglot – speaking English, Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil. A firm believer of kindness, he hopes everyone can live by this quote by Theodore Isaac Rubin – “Kindness is more important than wisdom, and the recognition of this is the beginning of wisdom”.

Ms Chee Yoke Peng or also known as Stella’s love for teaching fueled her degree in Chinese Studies and her teaching experience spans across a government school, a public university and currently a private school. Being in Sri KDU for the last 9 years attests to her passion, commitment and love for the profession, the school and the students. Behind the soft demeanour, lies a caring, collaborative and responsible teacher who prioritizes her students and her profession at all times. A firm believer of experiential learning, she infuses games in her teaching approach, thus creating a fun and happy learning environment. On the personal front, Ms Stella is home proud and thus spends her free time keeping her home spick and span. Besides this, she enjoys spending her leisure hours with her loved ones.

Ms Su Zanne has shown great interest and curiosity in behavioural science especially in children since high school which led her to study a degree in Psychology. Since then, she has worked with children from as young as 4 years old as a teacher. During her time as a teacher, she realized that children needed more than just academic learning. Many children are also experiencing family and emotional issues which could hinder their development if not addressed well. So she continued to pursue a Master’s Degree in Professional Counselling with the hope that she can touch more young lives. As a trainee counsellor, she has worked with children and families from diverse backgrounds including marginalized communities, refugees, and children with special needs. As soon as she graduated and became a licensed and registered counsellor under Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia (LKM) in 2019, she joined Sri KDU Primary School as a school counsellor. She works closely with the school community to provide a safe space for children to work on their emotions, to guide and to support the children during difficult times, and to create emotional awareness among the community. Due to the nature of her job, she would usually spend her free time doing things that are calming and relaxing to unwind such as painting, playing music, taking a walk in the park, shopping and eating!

Ms Chiang is an experienced and conscientious Science teacher who has had the opportunity of working in a few private schools. With a career spanning over 3 decades, she has positively impacted the lives of countless students. She is known for her approachable and caring nature. She fosters a supportive classroom environment where she believes that every student has the potential to succeed academically and personally, when equipped with the right blend of guidance, knowledge, moral values, and inspiration. To her, education isn't merely a profession; it's a vocation. She approaches each day in the classroom with a commitment to excellence, always striving to provide the best possible educational experience for her students. Her commitment to education and her students is evident in her long-standing tenure at her current school. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Chiang enjoys spending quality time with her family, tending to her garden, and going for leisurely walks, all of which contribute to a well-rounded and fulfilling life outside of her professional endeavours.

Ms. Chian Chian is a positive and energetic teacher. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Studies as she loves Mandarin language. She is passionate about sharing the knowledge of Mandarin language with students. She hopes to inspire students in a fun way and encourage them to love this language as much as she does.

Ms. Christenna have been working with people of different backgrounds, ages, and cultural origins for 31 years. She has been appointed as Head of Subject for Pendidikan Moral in 2021. She loves being around children and feels a huge responsibility as someone who's supposed to be not only a skilled teacher, but also a good role model for their pupils. As a teacher, she values her students and appreciates their trust. Ms. Christenna believes that building rapport and providing a comfortable but challenging enough environment for their growth is her main responsibility.

Ms. Eilidh Isphahani, an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and a global perspective. Her journey in education has taken her through international and private national settings, providing her with a diverse range of experiences. With a strong academic background and a passion for teaching, she is thrilled to be a part of the Sri KDU community. She has a Master’s Degree in Design Technology (Art and Design) and she also managed to achieve a certificate in CIDTL (Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Learners). Ms. Eilidh’s teaching style is dynamic and interactive, fostering a student-centred learning environment. She leverages her background in art and design to create hands-on experiences that engage students and empower them to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. She is passionate about promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation through art and design. In her classroom, students will not only explore the principles of art and design but also gain a deeper understanding of various cultures and their artistic expressions.

Mr. Elamchelian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education and a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. He started teaching in 2007 as an ICT and Maths teacher in a national public school before joining Sri KDU Primary School in 2013 as an ICT teacher for the Lower Primary. Besides teaching, he was also the Head Teacher Advisor for the school ICT Club and Football team. He was responsible in chaperoning and motivating the young talents under his charge in MSSD tournaments and friendly matches. He led the footballers to achieve the 3rd ranking in the Petaling Utama district. His passion and drive in sports saw him leading and inspiring his sports house members to become the Lower Primary Sports House Champion in 2019 Annual Sports Day.
In 2020, Mr. Elamchelian was appointed as one of the school's e-learning coordinators before assuming a senior leadership role as a Head of CCA and Sports in 2021. In his role as a coordinator, he has provided his fullest support and commitment in helping all teachers to enhance their online learning journey at the start of the lockdown due to the global pandemic. He demonstrates resilience in overcoming barriers to learning caused by the lockdown and plays an active role in supporting and guiding teachers to become capable online educators. He went beyond his role and exceeded expectations in making a difference to learning during these unprecedented times. He attended various online courses to upgrade himself and is now a certified Apple educator. Since the resumption of onsite learning in physical school in 2021, he champions hybrid learning with his team and continues to extend his support to the teaching faculty to improve the quality of online teaching and learning in Sri KDU Primary School.
Mr. Elamchelian has always been passionate about teaching. He is committed to upgrade himself and to never stop learning. He strongly believes as educators, we should always strive towards making a difference in the lives of our young charges. He looks forward to work alongside teachers in identifying young talents, standing by them and guiding them towards success in their areas of expertise.

Ms. Fairuz commenced her teaching career in 1992. In May 2004, she embarked on her teaching journey at Sri KDU. Ms. Fairuz dedicates herself wholeheartedly to teaching, firmly believing that through this, students can sense her dedication and earnestness. She treats her students with reverence and nurtures them with care. Ms, Fairuz consistently provides diverse opportunities for students to apply and employ their knowledge and skills in various learning scenarios. She actively involves her students in the learning process, encouraging their participation. She holds the conviction that educators play a pivotal role in shaping society, by imparting knowledge and molding individuals into better citizens. Ms. Fairuz ensures her students not only learn effectively but also attain commendable academic results. She endeavors to empathize with her students' challenges and approaches them with appropriate solutions. The guiding principle she adheres to is that students' prioritization, encompassing academic success, character development, and self-discipline, always takes precedence.

Ms. Foo Mei Kay is an accomplished professional with a background in music and educational psychology. Graduating with a Music Education degree from the University Science Malaysia and holding a master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University Putra Malaysia, she has a unique blend of artistic expertise and psychological insights. As the Head of Structured Performing Arts (SPA), she plays a vital role in shaping performing arts education and programs. Her leadership, collaborative spirit, and commitment to student development make her a valuable asset in her field. Ms. Foo Mei Kay's passion for the arts, innovative approach, and dedication to nurturing talent have a profound impact on the students and artists she works with.

Ms. Goh Huey Fang is an enthusiastic and experienced educator with a deep passion for teaching. With a Bachelor's Degree in Education, she has dedicated herself to teaching Mandarin. Her love for children is evident as she is always eager to support and assist them. She consistently finds creative ways to keep learning engaging and dynamic.

Ms. Irnada is an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a natural ability to appreciate and inspire children. With more than 10 years experience being an educator, she is a driven individual who is promising to satisfy the educational needs and well-being of the student.

Ms. Jaime is a passionate teacher who has been teaching at Sri KDU Primary School since November 2008. She has a Degree in Performing Arts and a Masters in Education. She believes that school is not just a place to be educated, but to learn important values such as kindness and respect. She is a dedicated and caring teacher who is committed to helping her students succeed. She is also a role model for her students, demonstrating the importance of kindness, respect, and a love for learning. Ms Jaime makes learning fun and engaging for her students to keep them interested and motivated. She believes that all students can learn well, and she works hard to help each student reach their full potential. Ms Jaime also believes that music and reading are integral to enrich a child's learning journey. She loves reading to her students and helping them to develop a love for reading. She’s a travel enthusiast and a bookworm who would love to write her own book one day!

Ms. Kartiga has an Honours degree in Bachelor's Software Engineering (Software Education). Her love for teaching has been a part of her life since her early days in primary school. Her enthusiasm lies in instructing theoretical subjects. However, Ms. Kartiga's journey to becoming an educator was not without its challenges. She faced numerous obstacles along the way. Despite these hurdles, somehow she had the opportunity to kickstart her career as an educator at Sri KDU. Here, she found her place as a teacher of Mathematics and ICT, where she continues to impart knowledge and inspire students' minds.
Ms. Kartiga is a devoted yoga enthusiast and practitioner who has immersed herself in the discipline of mastering the art of yoga. As a passionate yoga teacher, Ms. Kartiga shares her knowledge and expertise with others, helping them unlock the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga. Beyond her yoga practice and teaching, Ms. Kartiga is an avid lover of the universe and the natural world. She discovers peace and happiness in hiking to high places, where she can admire nature's stunning beauty from mountaintops.

Mr. Khairul Masri is an experienced educator and graphic designer who has had the opportunity of working in a few private schools and advertisement company. With a career spanning over 25 years, he has positively impacted the lives of countless students. He is known for his approachable and caring nature. He fosters a supportive classroom environment where he believes that every student has the potential to succeed academically and personally, when equipped with the right blend of guidance, knowledge, moral values, and inspiration. Ms. Lee Siew Fang, affectionately known as Ms. Vivienn, is a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher with over 20 years of experience. Ms. Vivienn holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (Hons) from University of Bemidji in the United States. During her academic journey, she accumulated 1.5 years of invaluable teaching experience, setting the foundation for her remarkable career in education.
With an impressive 21-year tenure at Sri KDU, Ms. Vivienn, one of the pioneers of the school, is also an E-Learning Champion, passionately integrates technology into her teaching methods. As a Google Certified Trainer, she leverages the latest digital tools and resources to engage her students in meaningful and interactive learning experiences. Her innovative approach to education not only enriches the learning process but also equips her students with essential 21st-century skills.
She has consistently demonstrated her dedication and compassion as an educator. Her ability to connect with students and foster a positive learning environment has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless young learners. Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Vivienn has an active personal life. She maintains a strong interest in fitness and enjoys activities like swimming and scuba diving. Ms. Lee Wai Sam is a committed and experienced Science teacher with a passion for promoting student improvement through continuous monitoring of their academic progress. She believes that all students can learn and succeed. Her teaching philosophy is to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. Wai Sam uses a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group work, and projects, to meet the needs of all learners. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and hanging around at cafes to write and spend time. She loves to explore new places and learn about different cultures. She also finds that cafes are the perfect place to be creative and relax. She often brings her iPad or a notebook to cafes to write, work on creative projects, or simply people-watch. Traveling has helped Ms. Lee Wai Sam to become more open-minded and understanding of different cultures. It has also given her the opportunity to meet new people and learn about their lives. Ms. Lee Yun Xuan is a passionate teacher with more than 7 years’ experience in teaching Mandarin. She is strong in Mandarin knowledge with a bachelor’s degree focused on Chinese language. She loves learning Mandarin since she was 13 years old, and she loves sharing Mandarin knowledge with students. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys travelling, reading and listening to music.

Ms. Lim Ann Chee is a dedicated and passionate teacher who has a deep love for the future leaders of her beloved country. With a warm smile and a heart filled with enthusiasm for the development of children, she brings a unique perspective to the classroom. She grew up in the capital of the coastal state of Malacca nestled just a stone’s throw away from the iconic historical landmarks. Her childhood was marked by adventures in the great outdoors, which instilled in her a profound connection to the countryside. She later pursued a diploma in education, combining her love for teaching with her love for the country.
Ms Lim Ann Chee believes that the peaceful homeland provides a wealth of educational opportunities. In her free time, you'll find Ms Lim Ann Chee hiking through forests, tending to her garden, or cycling in cities and countryside. Meet Ms. Lim Mi Mi, an inspiring primary teacher who has devoted nearly two decades to Sri KDU. Armed with a degree of Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Northumbria, UK, and a Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers (CIDTT), she brings a wealth of knowledge and boundless enthusiasm to her role. Her journey in education is inspired by the unwavering love, support, and guidance from her former Chemistry, Science, and English teachers. Throughout her tenure at Sri KDU, Ms. Lim has held various responsibilities, including roles as ICAS and Kangaroo Math’s coordinator, Head of Upper Primary Mathematics, and Outsourced CCA coordinator. However, despite her wealth of experience and opportunities to take on leadership roles, Ms. Lim has chosen to remain a dedicated teacher. Currently excelling as a mathematics teacher, her authentic passion for the subject illuminates every lesson. Ms. Lim's teaching philosophy centres on nurturing students' confidence and fostering critical thinking skills, ensuring an engaging and transformative learning experience for all.
Beyond the classroom, Ms. Lim cherishes the quality time spent with close friends, engaging in enriching conversations. Ms. Lim Pui Yee. or also known as Ms. Joanne graduated with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of Nottingham, UK. She is a dynamic and passionate educator with over a decade of teaching experience. With experience across both private and international schools, she has honed her craft and positively impacted students along the way. Her boundless enthusiasm for teaching, combined with her approachability, organisational prowess, and dedication to fostering students' passion for mathematics is evident in her students' progress. Her commitment to creating a vibrant, stimulating and effective learning environment is manifest in her teaching style and enagagement with students.
Ms. Joanne firmly believes that learning extends beyond the classroom, just as in Mathematics, where, "The more you practice, the better you get". Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Joanne indulges in her love for gastronomy and explores culinary delights with her family in her free time. She also finds relaxation and exercise in swimming and enjoys unwinding through watching and listening to a variety of entertainment.

Ms. Liza Taufik is a teacher who emphasises in discipline. She makes sure that students are well behaved in her class. She believes that manners are the main thing in educating students to excel in studies. Ms. Liza is a Sabahan, who came to the Peninsula to study. She graduated in Early Childhood Education at University of Malaya. She started her teaching career as an educator at Sri KDU Primary School in 2008, as as a Bahasa Melayu teacher. In 2023 she was given an additional role as Agama Teacher. Her experience as a teacher for 15 years at this school has given her a very valuable experience and through this experience Ms. Liza continues to give the best for her students and the school. She hopes to see her student become a national leader one day, who can make the religion, parents and the country proud.

Ms. Manimala has a Bachelor and Master Degree in Science. A love for the natural world, she enjoys experiments and encourages students to be curious and investigative. She has been a passionate science teacher for 18 years in Sri KDU Primary School. She loves to travel and discover many interesting things and shares them with her students. She enjoys interacting with her students with hands-on activities so students will do and discover. An avid reader, she believes in Dr Seuss's quote " The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go."

Ms. Mastura graduated in Bachelor of Sports Science and Diploma in Sports Studies. She has served in the education sector for 13 years. She is an experienced and enthusiastic teacher. She believes that students should be balance academically and active in sports participation to be a good leader. She specializes in developing and implementing activities for students to promote their physical fitness and overall health. She plans exercise activities based on the students' grade level to encourage their interest. She also involves in school team training, managing school athletes and various sports and co-curricular activities in school. She loves camping and outdoor activity. She wants to create good memories as, “School times end but the memories last forever.”

Ms. Maziah began her career as a teacher when she was 24 years old. Her teaching experience began at a government school before transitioning to a private school. She brings a passion for education that has only grown stronger over the years. Her journey in education has taken her through various roles, but what remains constant is her commitment to nurture young minds and fostering a love for learning. Her true passion for this profession is fuelled by the transformative power of education. A passionate physical education teacher, Ms J.P. Prema Devi has been teaching at Sri KDU Primary School, Kota Damansara since the year 2003. Her tertiary qualification encompasses both the bachelor degree of Education and a master’s degree specialised in Physical Education. She has more than 27 years of teaching experience dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students, while working in schools both in Malaysia and India. She has a strong understanding of pedagogical strategies that leads to holistic learning in younger hearts.
Besides teaching physical education, she has also taught Science at lower primary level for many years. Mr. Shazmir has a degree in Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (First Class Honors). He believes that children should be moulded through a variety of methods that are tailored to their respective levels and development. He is a Malay language teacher at Sri KDU primary school. His expertise lies in Malay language, and he has shown his credibility in boosting the percentage of improvement in language and communication among his students His ability to apply entertaining teaching techniques has made Malay language a favourite subject for Primary 1 students. In 2016, Mr. Shazmir served as a DG41 Intervention Officer for Children with Special Needs at Permata Kurnia, Sentul. He has experience in dealing with children with Autism, Syndrome Down, ADHD and other special conditions. He also attended several courses on handling children with special needs organized by the Ministry of Education. Other than that, Mr. Shazmir has a talent in script reading coaching and book editing. In 2020, he edited “Jom Kembara Utan” book and trained one of Sri KDU’s students who is a cast member of TV3 Banana Slot. Other than that, he is also CCA coordinator for the Lower Primary level. He is highly engaged in managing football and badminton teams until they qualify to the MSSS level. The philosophy that Mr. Shazmir often applies to his students is to work hard and fight for their goals until they succeed.

Ms Siti Mahatum is an experienced Bahasa Melayu teacher who has the opportunity of working with different students in different private schools. On the first day of teaching, she almost gave up. However, the strong spirit and strong support from colleagues has strengthened her. Now she has been teaching for almost 27 years. Beyond the classroom, Ms. Siti Mahatum enjoys spending time feeding cats during the weekend and going leisurely walks, all of which contribute to a well-rounded and fulfilling life outside of her professional endeavours.

Ms. Siti Zalikha Binti Zakaria, a public relation consultant changed her profession to that of an educator after graduating from Universiti Sains Malaysia in Bachelor Of (Honors) Communication in 2017. Her passion for nurturing young minds led her to teaching, where she found her true calling.

His hobbies include researching and reading about World History, Civilization History, Malaysian History, and Islamic History, as well as reading educational articles on psychological development. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has been actively engaged in mentoring and coaching students in football. He has served as one of the teacher advisors for the Sri KDU Secondary School team since 2013, and in a historic achievement for Sri KDU, he witnessed the team's triumph in the MSSD tournament in 2017, marking the first time the school had achieved such a victory. He actively participated in numerous school projects involving PA systems and lighting, and multimedia design. His role extended to major events such as Performances and Awards nights, and Sports Day, where his expertise significantly contributed to their success.

Ms. Angela holds a bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Design. Her passion for teaching began while teaching tuition classes part-time at her father's tuition centre. After graduating, she taught in government schools teaching History, Art and Geography before joining Sri KDU in 2011. Mr Gandi graduated from University Malaya with BSc degree. He also has some experience from the manufacturing indusrty and is running his own food outlet. As the Head of Mathematics for upper secondary in Sri KDU Secondary School, he has been an educator for more then 25 years. Teaching mathematics and imparting life values is always emphasized. He always encourages students to help the needy and promote nature conservation. Education must be fun.

Ms.Gayathri has over 15 years experience in the education industry. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature & a BA in Philosophy. As a fresh graduate, her first 8 years was spent in SEGi College Kuala Lampur where she lectured a variety of subjects from diploma level Communication, English, Marketing & Public Relations subjects to Research Methodology among masters students. She decided to leave tertiery level education and pursue a career in secondary school when her mother fell ill. Never regretting that decision, she has served the school in various aspects throughtout her time here. From teaching, to being a housemistress multiple times, to writing and directing the original musical pieces for the annual Performance & Awards, to managing and now heading the Pastoral Care & Discipline department while heading the Upper Secondary English department at the same time, she has said that it is indeed challenging to live up to the standards of Sri KDU Secondary School, but one that she does happily and proudly. Pn. Intan has experience teaching Bahasa Melayu for more than 16 years in public and private schools. She is a holder of the Diploma Perguruan Asas and has attended Kursus dalam Perkhidmatan (Pengajian Bahasa Melayu Sekolah Menengah) at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Melayu Kuala Lumpur. Her high interest in improving students' understanding of Bahasa Melayu causes her to often create creativity in teaching. Various Bahasa Melayu teaching techniques have been applied in line with the development of modern technology. The challenging world of education made her try to diversify teaching methods to make them more interesting. Her credibility in the field of work should not be denied when she was trusted to hold the position of CCA Coordinator from 2012 until now. She is also often responsible for being the master of ceremonies for every program at her school. She hopes that her students will be successful in academics and have a noble character.

Ms Jacinta obtained her first degree in B.A. (Hons) Mandarin Literature from University of Malaya in 2001 and a Diploma of Education in her postgraduate studies from Maktab Perguruan Ipoh Perak in 2002. Before joining Sri KDU School, she taught in a public school for one and half years. She has 20 years of experience as a teacher with 8 years of experience in middle management.
Her passion for teaching began while teaching Sunday school in church and is influenced by her mother who was the headmistress of a kindergarten since young. She has confidence and experience to teach in Mandarin. She is patient and caring, so she has the ability to forge strong rapport with her students. Ms Jacinta likes to sing and laugh, so her classroom atmosphere is usually elaxed and happy. She is responsible, reliable, loyalty and helpful, and has a track record of 100% attendance every year.

An energetic, passionate and creative profesional with Master Degree in Education Management from University Malaya, Mr Jaya seelan has 20 years of experience in teaching history. He has a unique technique to make history interesting by using technology and interaction between students to engage them to understand better. Beyond the classroom, Mr Jaya seelan is an active badminton player and actively involved in preparing students for major tournaments.

Passionate about knowledge, faith, and personal growth, Ms Khairunisa Fadila holds a Bachelor's degree in Usuluddin and Comparative Religion from IIUM (International Islamic University Malaysia), followed by a master's in Comparative Religion from the same university. Here in Sri KDU, she is responsible in teaching Pendidikan Islam dan Pendidikan Moral for both lower secondary and upper secondary. In her teaching journey, she blends history and philosophy to ignite curiosity and inspire critical thinking. Beyond the classroom, we'll find her immersed in sports, volunteering, and mentoring students in various areas. Excited for upcoming drama theatre production, she also engaged in supervising martial arts performance together with sport practices.

With over two decades of teaching experience under his belt, Ravi Kumar Kannappan has devoted his life to making history a passion in his classroom. A highly-sought after educator, he has taught in many different institutions from smart schools to local universities.
Armed with his passion and love for World, Asia and Malaysian History, he has successfully written numerous revision books for the Malaysian A-Level equivalent, STPM. He actively devotes his time to sharing his love for history through his exam seminars for PMR, SPM and STPM students throughout Malaysia.
Ravi is currently pursuing his doctorate in History at University Kebangsaan Malaysia, while educating young minds at Sekolah Menangah Sri KDU, Kota Damansara.

With an engineering background, Mr Kumar began his journey at SRI KDU Secondary School in 2012. The first subjects he taught were Kemahiran Hidup and Moral Education. He was then promoted as the Head of Subject for Pendidikan Moral after more than 10 years of service.
Apart from teaching, Mr Kumar is also active in school teams and co-curricular activities (CCA). He enjoys working in Sri KDU Secondary School and has always found his work a pleasant experience, thanks to the supervision of the leadership and management team. Mr Kumar hopes to continue giving his best to the school while also aiding his students in shining and achieving new heights.

Mr. Kaneson Iyaroo is a qualified Chemistry graduate, an educator and a master of IT in education. He has 25 years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students of various levels and abilities in a private school. He knows how to help students master the basic skills and concepts of Mathematics and apply them in real-life situations. Mr. Kaneson is passionate about Mathematics and its role in developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Mr Ling graduated from the University Putra Malaysia with a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons). He has also attained professional certifications in ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor and ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. Prior to joining Sri KDU Secondary School, Mr Ling was the Senior Engineer working in the field of manufacturing, auditing, quality assurance, training and Kaizen in one of the multinational companies in Malaysia. Due to his great enthusiasm in teaching and knowledge sharing, he decided to build his future career in education industry and joined Sri KDU Secondary School as an Additional Mathematics teacher in 2011. For the past years, Mr Ling has guided hundreds of students to score distinctions in SPM Additional Mathematics. His teachings are detailed and very concise and he is able to structure his lessons in a manner which is catered to student’s learning needs and lessons with him were always fruitful.

Ms. Loh holds a master's degree from Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China, Bachelor of Language & Linguistics (Chinese) from the University of Malaya and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching. In 2010, she started working as a Mandarin teacher at Sri KDU Secondary School. Every student, in Ms. Loh’s opinion, has individual talents. She consistently encourages and supports students who want to participate in both school and extracurricular events.
Her lessons emphasise the development of critical thinking abilities, improved communication abilities, and high moral character. She is passionate about extracurricular basketball and Chinese cultural activities.

Ms Loshanya is a highly dedicated and goal-driven professional educator that consistently strives towards achieving social and academic growth and development of every student. She also tries to remain flexible to ensure that every child's learning styles and abilities are addressed.

Mr Mahesh teaches Prinsip Perakaunan and Ekonomi at Sri KDU Secondary School for the past 5 years. As the Head of Subject for the Business Studies panel, he is a very dedicated, passionate and skillful educator in Accounting and Economics. Prior to joining Sri KDU, he was a part time lecturer in a private college while serving full time at Bursa Malaysia Berhad as a Market Operations Executive. As a teacher who has had corporate experience in stock exchange, he incorporates various methods and skills to engage with students to ensure an active teaching and learning.

Ms. Maimuna, holding a Master's Degree in English Language Studies from Universiti Malaya, boasts over 5 years of teaching expertise, spanning from instructing young children as young as 4 to mentoring young adults. Ms Mariammah has 30 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools. She graduated with a B.A.[Hons] with double major in History and Geography from University of Malaya. She further obtained her Diploma in Education also from University of Malaya.She has been teaching in Sri KDU Secondary School for the past 7 years. She is currently teaching History for secondary students by incorporating various methods to engage with students to ensure creativity and consistency in teaching and learning.She is always engaged in continuous learning to broaden her knowledge and experience to further enhance her performance at work. She is an ardent advocate of mind body and soul balance in life. Therefore, as a certified yoga instructor, she also teaches yoga in her spare time.

Mr. Mohd Iskandar is a distinguished individual with a rich background in education and outdoor pursuits. With 12 years of experience, he serves as an accomplished art teacher and Head of Physical Education (PE HoS). His passion for sports led his team to victory in the Football Championship of 2015, showcasing his leadership and strategic skills.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Iskandar is an avid adventurer, having successfully completed challenging expeditions. He is a proud recipient of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DoE) and holds the esteemed roles of an Award Leader and Award Assessor within the program. He is an active member of the Persatuan Pendaki Malaysia (Mountaineering Association of Malaysia) and has conquered significant peaks, including Mount Kinabalu in 2012 and the Everest Base Camp in 2013, reflecting his determination and love for outdoor challenges.

MOHD SYAMIL BIN MOHD DZOLKIFLI

Mr. Syamil holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Law from the International Islamic University of Malaysia and he graduated with a PGCE in Secondary History from The University of Manchester. Currently, he is teaching Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah to lower secondary students. With his 10 years of experience teaching Bahasa Malaysia and History for both IGCSE and national syllabi in international schools, he implements and utilizes unique teaching methods such as lectures and differentiated-based instruction, game and technology-based learning, as well as inquiry-based learning. With these effective teaching methods, Mr. Syamil consistently creates an enjoyable and productive classroom experience to support students with different interests, abilities, and learning styles. This helps them acquire important academic and social skills that will last a lifetime and maximizes their chances of success in the classroom.

Dr Muniswaran Sivanathan has 18 years of teaching experience in both secondary and tertiery level for both National and International Syllabi. He graduated with a B.Sc (Hons) Biochemistry from University of Malaya and furthered his studies in M.Sc.(Environmental Engineering) from UPM before completing his PhD in IMU under the Research Grant from Ministry of Health Malaysia ,specialising in Lipid Biochemistry and Inflammation (By Research). Sri KDU has laid his foundation in teaching in 2005 from which he expanded to various organisations before returning back in 2022. He is currently teaching Physics and General Science for secondary students where he advocates incorporationg various methods to engage with students to ensure creativity and consistency in teachong and learning.

Puan Azida holds a Bachelor Degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education. She is a Bahasa Melayu teacher for the past 9 years in Sri KDU Secondary School. She is currently teaching lower secondary students. As a teacher, she is charismatic and passionate about engaging students on all levels, enhancing their social experiences by encouraging group lessons and learning. She is a very well experienced teacher, who is deeply knowledgeable about teaching our national language. Pn Azida believes in using a variety of teaching methods and creativity to engage the students in classroom. Puan Azida believes that learning a language challenges both one's mind and time because it requires consistent practice.

Puan Noraini holds a Master's Degree and has been teaching at Sri KDU for the past 14 years. Her experience of teaching students, especially at the SPM level, has given her many opportunities to continue helping students at this school. NORAISHAH NORDIN

Ms. Aishah is an experienced Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi (RBT) teacher with 12 years of teaching experience, and she has been a part of Ssri KDU Secondary School for over 7 years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree of Art and Design (Hons) from University Technology Mara. Ms. Aishah is a dedicated educator known for her passion for innovation and creative problem-solving. She possesses the skills and mindset required to excel in the fast-paced world of design and technology. Ms. Aishah's teaching philosophy revolves around implementing creative and engaging strategies to motivate and inspire students. She is committed to helping her students unlock their full potential and achieve success in their studies.

Ms. Iza holds a Diploma of Art and Design from University Technology Mara and an Advance Diploma of Footwear Design and Technology from Selangor Human Resource Development Centre, Shah Alam. Experienced as designer and an animator before becoming a substitute teacher in a public school, she has worked for almost 15 years at Sri Kdu National Secondary School as a substitute teacher whilst also assisting the school administration.

Ms. Fadhilah holds a degree and master’s degree in Malay Studies from the University of Malaya, majoring in linguistics. In 2022, she graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching. She has been a Bahasa Melayu teacher for 11 years in private schools, with teaching experience on the national and IGCSE syllabi. In 2013, she started working as a lower secondary Bahasa Melayu teacher at Sri KDU Secondary School.She always tries her best to make sure that students enjoy themselves while learning Bahasa Melayu. She strongly believes in applying various teaching methodologies to help her students to cultivate their abilities and potential and to master the necessary skills in order for them to become responsible and well-educated community members.

Mr. Pang holds a Bacjelor's degree in Engineering. As a teacher, he wholeheartedly believes in the transformative power of education. Each day, he has the privilege of shaping young minds, instilling knowledge, and inspiring students to reach their fullest potential. Fuelled by his experience, he chooses to dedicate his career to teaching, determined to provide the same opportunities to the next generation. Over the years as a teacher, Mr Pang has helped to guide students who faced numerous socio-economic challenges, limited resources, and had a lack of exposure to the wider world. Recognizing the untapped potential within these students, he embraces the role of not only as a teacher but also as a mentor, guiding them towards their best potential.

Ms. Puspa has taught Prinsip Perakaunan at Sri KDU Secondary School for the past 10 years. She has 22 years of experience teaching accounting in national and international syllabi. She has been the head of the subject, discipline teacher, assessment committee, sports house mistress, and head of many events at her current school. She has explored all areas and has gained experience in all fields. Last year, she was appointed as Head of Subject, and she made Business Week a successful one where students and parents were happy with students’ skills in selling things and gaining profit. Her business students were involved in the Taylors Quiz and qualified for the final. She has also arranged, for a number of years, for the SPM Accounting examiners to the school for exam preparatory seminars to business students. She believes in working closely with her team to make the business department popular and effiicient, and she wants her teachers to learn the marking techniques and strategies to help their students achieve a distinction for accounting and economics in SPM.
As the head of academics and assessment for upper secondary, she is keen to foster collaborations between teachers and administrators to enhance students' learning experiences. To her, leadership means loyalty, courage, and respect for all human beings. She believes that, as a leader, she should be loyal to her mission and her team. Mr.Rajanderan holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Management (M.Env, Mgnt), a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science (Geography) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), and a Diploma in Education - KPLI from IPBMKL. He has 26 years of teaching experience in both lower secondary and upper secondary. As a teacher, he is charismatic and passionate about engaging students at all levels and enhancing their social experiences in learning development. Apart from teaching as a profession, he has a passion for writing various books. So far he already produced 43 books including 2 text books. Because of his extensive experience,Mr Rajanderan has also been invited to conduct Geografi lessons in TV programmes with a total of 19 episodes. He has previously been featured in Astro as a Top Tutor for KSSM Geografi.

RANJITHA A/P SIVARAMAN

Ms Ranjitha holds a bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in biotechnology, from Monash University Sunway Campus. Being an educator in Sri KDU Secondary School for the past 5 years, she strongly believes that a teacher has all the capability to shape the younger generation’s future, not only academically but also in terms of moulding a child’s discipline. As a Science teacher, Ms Ranjitha always enjoys teaching new discoveries to her student and she loves to see the “wow” expressions in their eyes! Apart from integrating various technologies in her lessons, Ms Ranjitha also believes that a teacher’s cheerful tone and the teacher-student rapport make a huge difference in terms of building students' interest towards their studies.

Ms.Roshell is a dedicated educator with a strong foundation in early childhood education. She holds a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, demonstrating her commitment to the field. With a decade of experience in early childhood education, Ms.Roshell has honed her expertise in fostering the development and growth of young learners. Currently, shevhas embarked on a new journey as a secondary teacher, specializing in the teaching of Mandarin. Mr. Sarawanan graduated from the National University of Malaysia (also known as University Kebangsaan Malaysia) where he obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in History. He then completed his teaching diploma ( Dip. Ed) at Sultan Abdul Halim Shah Teacher’s Training College in Kedah and started his teaching career at a private school in Subang Jaya. Since 2002, Mr Sarawanan has been teaching History at Sri KDU Secondary School, and thsi is where he has also been serving as the Head of Co-curricular activities.
With 25 years of teaching experience, Mr Sarawanan's achievements were officially recognised when he was awarded with the National Outstanding Education Award in 2016 by the Private Education Cooperative of Malaysia. Additionally, he was also the Malaysia Teacher Prize in 2023 nominee. Mr Sarawanan's dedication and hard work are mainly focused on his ;hope to help develop our students and in turn, our nation.

SATHIA NARAYANAN @ NAIR RAMAN

Such a figurative statement is held true with Mr Sathia, a teacher who has dedicated his life to not only teach History as a subject but also to instill the value of patriotism in each and every student. With his in-depth experience as a teacher for over 30 years, Mr Sathia serves as a dedicated metaphorical lantern to lighten the difficulty our students face especially in learning and sustaining their interest in History by making his lessons interesting and by mentoring his students with care and dedication.

Meet Shankar Subramaniam, an experienced Mathematics teacher with a remarkable 17-year teaching background. Mr Shankar's dedication to education extends beyond the classroom, as he has traveled to over 1000 schools in Malaysia to deliver captivating speeches on Mathematics. His expertise has also been recognized on a broader platform, as he has been featured on Astro Tutor TV, a prominent educational TV program. Shankar's passion for teaching extends to the digital realm, where he shares engaging Mathematics content on YouTube and TikTok, making complex concepts accessible to students of all ages.

SHONG HOI FUNG
Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi & Pendidikan Jasmani dan Kesihatan Teacher/Homeroom 1W/CCA-Table tennis
Mr. Shong graduated from Anglia Polytechnic University. He is also certified in TRIZ management and Magnetcoding with 31 years of teaching experience. Besides his teaching experience, he also contributes his knowledge in writing Reka Bentuk dan Teknologi (RBT) books since the introduction of the subject to replace Kemahiran Hidup. He likes to encourage students by stimulating their creativity in solving problems and applying their knowledge into the real world. In his free time, Mr Shong enjoys reading books, doing workouts in the gym, playing badminton, and teaching martial arts.

Mr Sugumaran holds a B.A (Hons) degree in Economics, as well as a Diploma in Teaching from Maktab Perguruan Perlis with a major in Economics. With 25 years of teaching experience, he has worked in several schools before becoming part of the Sri KDU Secondary School faculty. Mr Sugu has also served as the sports secretary for over 18 years. Although his experience centers mainly on SPM level, he is also experienced in teaching Economics for IGCSE and tertiary levels. Mr Sugumaran is a skilled and versatile teacher. who can multitask well.

Ms. Suria Kumari is a Geography teacher who has been at Sri KDU Secondary School for more than 8 years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in International Bussines from the National University of Malaysia. She currently teaches Secondary 1 and 2 students. Ms Suria has also supervised students’ progress in related public and internal exams. Her teaching philosophy focuses on combining various Geography teaching methods and techniques to help students improve their understanding and results. She believes strongly in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments and she has a keen understanding of positive student welfare practices.
Being a teacher more than 18 years, Ms Suria is a very energetic, motivated, detail-oriented and ambitious teacher. Aside from her experience in incorporating interactivity into conservative teaching methods in her lessons, she is also well versed in classroom management and is capable of preparing innovative lessons.

Puan Suriani Ibrahim holds a Bachelor Degree In Library Science and ahs been teaching Pendidikan Islam at Sekolah Menengah Sri KDU for the past 14 years. She is currently teaching lower and upper secondary students. Puan Suriani is responsible in guiding Secondary 4 and 5 students to prepare well for their SPM. She is well knowledgeable about the exam formats and student needs and belives in using a variety of methods and creativity while teaching and engaging students in her lessons. Puan Suriani believes that teaching Pendidikan Islam is interesting and challenging at the same time but is confident in keeping her students engaged.

Mr.Surish Sritharan holds a Bachelor's Degree and has been teaching Bahasa Melayu at Sri KDU for the past 18 years since 2006. He is a senior teacher and the upper secondary Head of Bahasa Melayu department. Under his guidance, his BM panel has consistently shown to produce good results in SPM examination every year. Mr Surish also conducts Bahasa Melayu seminars for our students and also to other national school students focusing on the effective approaches towards the subject and the strategies to score excellent results. He frequently incorporates Assessment for Learning (AfL), Interactive Learning and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in his daily instruction to make his lesson interestings. As a Head of Subject, Mr Surish also ensures that his Bahasa Melayu panel performs their tasks very well to achieve the school's goals and mission. He believes in working very closely with his school leadership to conduct yearly training to the teachers in Sri KDU. He is a highly motivated and energetic teacher. This year, Mr.Surish is given a new task to spearhead the Pemerkasaan Bahasa Melayu programme in order to cultivate the interest among Sri KDU students to master the language effectively. He is involved in Minggu Bahasa Melayu and few other interschool events and competitions .

Armed with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Chemistry from The National University of Malaysia, Ms. Tang brings a strong academic foundation to her teaching. Her journey in education began in 2015, and since then, she has been inspiring young minds to explore the wonders of Chemistry. Ms. Tang's dynamic approach to teaching not only imparts knowledge but also encourages critical thinking and creativity in her students.
Prior to her teaching career, Ms. Tang served as an R&D Chemist in a glove company. This unique industrial experience enables her to bridge the gap between theory and real-world applications, making her lessons practical and enlightening. Zurida binti Jaffar is a dedicated educator with over 16 years of classroom experience. She is very proud to teach national language and Malaysia culture to her students. She has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by non-native speakers and is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all her students. Zurida loves to incorporate technology into her lessons and is constantly seeking new and innovative ways to engage her students. She is known for her patience and her ability to inspire students to achieve their academic and personal goals. She understands that every child has different strengths and weaknesses in their learning process. Therefore, she is committed to having differentiated instruction in her class with a variety of opportunities for her students to achieve their goals.
