The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results are out!
Congratulations to our IB Diploma graduates!
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) results for 2017 are out. We are pleased to announce that the average point score is 36 (maximum for IBDP is 45) making our 3 year average 35.4. Everyone passed the full IB Diploma with a score of 31 or above; this is remarkable as the world average point score is 30.0, so an excellent performance by all students!
Kristen Erzsebet Koopmans is our Valedictorian with 43 points. This is a remarkable achievement as only 7% of students in the world get 40+. She will be off to study at University College London (UCL) in UK this September. UCL is one of the Russell Group’s world-class, research intensive universities. According to the QS World University Rankings, UCL is ranked 7th in the world. Congratulations, Kristen!
Another top scorer, Sidartha Rakuram gained 40 points and many will know him as Head Boy in SKIS in Year 10/11. He joined SKIS in Year 8 and has had his whole secondary education at SKIS. Sidartha has just won a prestigious full Astro Scholarship to study Computer Science at Georgia Tech in the USA. Only 8 Astro scholarships were awarded this year and we are delighted that two other students from Sidartha’s IGCSE batch, Athan Siah and Louys Hong, also won Astro scholarships.
Congratulations to all of our IBDP students!
