Making a Change with Hands for Education
In conjunction with the myHarapan Social Project Challenge, Sri KDU Secondary School students with their project, Hands for Education was selected as one of the 5 finalists for the challenge. At the finals held last weekend at Petrosains, Discovery Centre, KLCC, the team pitched their project to a panel of corporate executives from various organisations.
This student-run initiative aims to help the underprivileged kids that live in the low-cost flats in Kota Damansara. The students conduct mentoring sessions every Sunday in the community hall which include but are not limited to sports activities and tutoring sessions.
We are proud to announce that the team has emerged as the 1st Runner-Up and took home RM2,000 cash prize. Well done!
