Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we’re back to school after the half term break it is my pleasure to welcome you once
again to our weekly school newsletter. I hope this message finds you in good health and
high spirits. Your continued presence and support are the pillars upon which our
educational community stands, and we are deeply grateful for your trust in us.
HFMD case reported - Secondary
Unfortunately, we had a confirmed case of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) in Year
7 yesterday. The health and safety of our students are our top priorities, and we want to
ensure that everyone is well-informed and take the necessary precautions. Thanks to Year
7 parents for your promptness in supporting the situation yesterday. Rest assured that we
are taking every possible step to sanitise the school thoroughly and prevent any further
spread of the infection over this weekend; ensuring a safe environment upon the students'
return on 30 October 2023 (Monday).
A Dash of Spookiness
In the spirit of Halloween, our students are invited to embrace their spooky side on 31
October 2023 (Tuesday) for our annual Halloween Costume Day! We encourage creativity
and imagination, so students are invited to wear their most spooktacular Halloween
costumes to school. Let their creativity run wild, but remember, only the appropriately
dressed, friendliest of ghosts and the kindest of witches are welcome! We ask that you
guide their selection of costumes and accessories in a manner that will allow them to
comfortably work and learn throughout the day.
Storytelling Magic
Speaking of adventures, our great storytellers are cordially invited to participate in
ourStorytelling Championship! All rounds will unfold from 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm and first
round is on 30 October 2023 (Monday), followed by Round 2 on 31 October 2023
(Tuesday). The new date for the grand finale is on 2 November 2023 (Thursday).
Participants are encouraged to weave their stories while adorned in costumes that align
with their chosen tale. Changing to their costumes will only be allowed only during lunch
breaks on the mentioned dates.
Your Voice Matters
As always, we value your partnership in nurturing a positive learning environment. If you
have any concerns and feedback, please reach out to us at skis.klang@srikdu.edu.my.
Thank you for your understanding, support, and have a pleasant weekend!
