Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are moving quickly to the Chinese New Year Mid-Term break. Next week in school
will be all things Mandarin! I hope everyone enjoys the activities and the celebrations.
Wednesday is Chinese traditional dress day or students can also celebrate by wearing
red on the day. It would be great to see everyone taking part on that day.
This week we also celebrated a win for the school at the XCL's Got Talent Malaysian
Final. Our very own Natalie Gan performing a ballet piece won the Malaysian schools
competition and will now represent the XCL Malaysian schools in the international final
in April. The secondary competition was very hard fought, with only a few points
separating the winner down to 7th place, which sadly we did not place, but the band
did their very best.
A quick reminder about the 'Feed the Hunger' Charity drive. Any dog food or
donations can be left at reception. Closing date is 8th Feb. Thank you to those who
have already shown their generosity.
