Dear Students, Parents and Friends of SIKG,
SIKG celebrated World Mental Health
Day with a Mental Health and Wellbeing
Week to raise awareness. The day itself
was particularly colourful with students
and staff coming to school in green to
raise the profile of the occasion.
We also enjoyed a wonderful feast of
Korean food during the Cafeteria’s
Korean themed day. Thanks to Anis and
the Delischool team for their efforts to
keep the menu diverse and exciting. A short video montage of this can be viewed here:
Cafeteria Korean Themed Day
Congratulations to our Under 9 Benchball squad for a fine performance at their
competition at Taylor’s International School. Although some of the matches were tough, it
was an invaluable learning experience. Our newly formed Sports Committee are working on
even more competitive sporting opportunities for all age groups.
Parents and Guardians Association (PGA)
It was a tremendous turnout at the PGA Coffee Morning this Wednesday with 45 parents in
attendance. We talked about the progress on the school development plan and also some
areas for consultation around the school’s curriculum for next year. Thank you again for
coming and I hope to be able to offer you better coffee at the next one!
Alumni Association
We are keen to establish our Alumni contact list so that we can start thinking about Alumni
events for later in the year. Could those who have ex-Sri KDU pupils in their families kindly
share this link to assist with the establishment of our Alumni database:
