Dear Students, Parents and Friends of SIKG,
We have had a wonderful snapshot of the talent, energy and strong sense of community across our campus over the last five days.
Our ECA Showcase Assembly allowed students to share their learning beyond the classroom. The Taekwondo performance delighted the audience with its unexpected humour, while the Diabolo performance impressed with its pace and energy – both wonderful examples of our students’ confidence and creativity.
Many of our students also competed in the MSSD Badminton Championships this week. At the time of writing, Hao Zhe and Yi Xuan (Year 6) has progressed to the quarterfinals. In the Under‑12 Singles, three out of five students advanced to the third round, and our Under‑15 Boys’ Singles representative also secured a win and moves on. Our Under‑18 Boys’ Singles representative fought hard but was eliminated in the second round. Well done to all students who represented the school, including Louis, Darren, Ernest, Beckham, Ethan, Zher Wei, Hao Zhe, Yi Xuan, Rayden and Kayden.
This week also saw our Early Years and Years 1-4 students enjoy exciting educational trips, filled with curiosity, exploration and fun learning experiences beyond the classroom.
Looking ahead, we wish our performers the very best of luck at the XCL’s Got Talent Grand Final at Sri KDU Kota Damansara on Monday, 20 April – we are cheering you on!
Finally, thank you to the parents and guardians who attended Wednesday’s Parents and Guardians Association (PGA) meeting. Your engagement and support continue to strengthen our school community.
Congratulations also to our Year 6 Tigers on a confident and well-planned Assembly. Students demonstrated confidence, maturity and pride while their warm and engaging performances reflected the strong bonds within the year group.
Regards,
Rhys Thomas,
Campus Principal
