Teaching Staff
Our faculty consists of well-qualified and experienced staff - a mix of Malaysian and expatriate teachers. The majority of the staff are Malaysians, complemented by expatriate teachers with a UK Qualified Teacher Status.
All our faculty members hold at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant areas and have experience teaching in an international school environment. Additionally, expatriate faculty members bring with them UK style pedagogy which gives them insights into enhancing learning in our classrooms. With the best of East and West on campus, children are assured of a high-quality learning environment.
As a Microsoft Showcase School, all faculty members have access to a wealth of Microsoft training content, as well as mutual learning opportunities with other Microsoft Showcase Schools around the world. Additionally, our comprehensive internal training and coaching programmes ensure our teachers are able to present students with the best learning experience.

James Charles Exall holds a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of Brighton (2013) and a BSc in Business Management from the University of Surrey (2006). With 12 years of experience in education, he has held teaching and leadership roles in international schools across China. Currently serving as Assistant Head of Key Stage 2 at Sri KDU International School Klang, James is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, collaborate, and enjoy learning. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, reading, and supporting Southampton Football Club.

Runesha holds a Bachelor of Education (Science) (Hons) from Management & Science University and a Master of Education (Educational Psychology) from Asia e University. She joins us with six years of teaching experience, including her time as a Primary School Teacher at Tenby International School Setia Ecohill. As a Year 4 Homeroom Teacher, Runesha is passionate about creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. She brings creativity, teamwork, and a strong commitment to helping students grow both academically and personally. Outside the classroom, Runesha enjoys reading and baking and is also a trained Bharatanatyam dancer.

Carissa Anne A/P Augustinathan holds a Bachelor of Education with Honours (First Class) from UNITAR International University, completed in 2024. With 20 years of teaching experience, she previously served as a Class Teacher at Tenby International School from 2014 to 2022 and brings extensive experience in the British curriculum, with expertise in English, Mathematics, Science, Global Perspectives, and Humanities for Years 4–5.Passionate about inclusive education, Carissa prioritises emotional wellbeing, inclusion, and the thoughtful use of technology to create supportive classrooms where students feel empowered to become resilient and critical thinkers. With a strong interest in literacy, SEND/EAL, and EdTech, she looks forward to using innovative approaches to inspire a lifelong love of learning and contribute positively to the Sri KDU Klang community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading classic literature and poetry and learning new things. A fun fact about Carissa is that she can play the guitar and considers herself very funny! She particularly enjoys being part of the Sri KDU Klang community because of the wonderful people she works with and the children.

Menesshadeep Kaur Jogindar Singh holds a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education from Taylor’s University (2018). With 8 years of teaching experience, she began her career at Cempaka International School as a Year 1 Mathematics and Homeroom Teacher (2018–2020).Currently serving as Head of Mathematics Primary / Primary Teacher at Sri KDU International School Klang, Menesshadeep is passionate about nurturing students holistically and creating a positive environment where they can build confidence, embrace challenges and develop a love for learning. She is also a DoE Coordinator, with experience leading school events, AfL programmes and educational trips, while supporting safeguarding and student wellbeing.Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking, dancing, swimming and watching football. A fun fact about her is that she loves solving puzzles, especially jigsaw puzzles. She particularly values the strong friendships and family-like bond among staff at Sri KDU Klang.

Chan Seow Huay holds a B.Ed. (Hons) in TESL from the University of Exeter, completed in 2002. With 15 years of professional teaching experience, she has taught across both secondary and primary education, including serving as a Secondary School Teacher at SMK Ulu Bernam (2002–2004) and a Primary School Teacher at Sri Kuala Lumpur (2010–2022). Currently serving as a Primary School Teacher at Sri KDU International School Klang, Chan is passionate about creating a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their potential. She believes children thrive when they are given the right balance of warmth, high expectations, curiosity and teamwork. She looks forward to contributing to the Sri KDU Klang community and supporting students in their learning and personal growth. Outside the classroom, Chan enjoys sports and outdoor activities. You’ll often find her running, working out or taking on her next fitness challenge. She particularly values Sri KDU Klang’s supportive community, shared learning and the opportunity to see students grow together.

Amanda Vimi holds a Bachelor in Industrial Management (Hons) from UNISEL, completed in 2009, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from UNITAR, completed in 2024. She brings 16 years of professional experience, including more than a decade in education, with experience supporting primary learners and working in diverse international school environments. Her previous roles include Teaching Assistant, Cover Teacher, and EAL Teaching Assistant/Teacher at Tenby International School Setia Eco Park, as well as Shadow Teacher and Assistant Teacher at The British International School of Kuala Lumpur. She has also taught at Harvest Academy, Klang, and SMK Batu Unjur, Bukit Tinggi, Klang.Passionate about creating a supportive learning environment, Amanda believes every child can learn and thrive when they feel safe, valued, and encouraged. She is committed to bringing kindness, patience, and teamwork to the classroom while building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families. She hopes to inspire confidence, celebrate individuality, and help every child grow to their potential.Outside the classroom, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and going for walks or jogs. Nereshani Rajendran holds a Diploma in TESOL from The TESOL Training Center (2011) and has 12 years of professional experience in education. She previously worked as an Early Years & Primary Teaching Assistant at Taylor’s International School (2015–2020), supporting young learners in their educational journey.Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Sri KDU International School Klang, Nereshani is passionate about creating inclusive, learner-centred experiences that build confidence, curiosity and a love for lifelong learning. She enjoys supporting students through their daily learning and finding creative ways to make lessons engaging and meaningful.Outside the classroom, Nereshani enjoys listening to music and creating fun learning experiences. A fun fact about her is that she loves turning everyday objects into creative learning activities. Yashila A/P Manogeran holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) in TESL from UNITAR International University (2023). She has experience as a Secondary Teacher Intern at SMK Taman Sri Muda (2023) and brings a passion for language learning and student development.Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Sri KDU International School Klang, Yashila believes in creating engaging, student-centred learning experiences that build confidence, respect, creativity and academic growth. She particularly enjoys supporting students in their learning journey and contributing to an inclusive and positive school environment.Outside the classroom, Yashila enjoys badminton and baking. She describes herself as calm, easy-going and organised, with a love for planning activities and keeping things running smoothly. Alice Lim is trained in Montessori education through the Malaysia Association of Kindergartens and brings 23 years of professional experience in education. She has been part of Sri KDU International School Klang since 2020 and has supported students in Years 2–3 across Mathematics, English, and Science.Passionate about creating positive and inclusive learning environments, Alice believes every child should feel valued, safe, and confident. She is committed to nurturing curiosity, independence, and wellbeing while maintaining high expectations and building strong relationships with her students. With her extensive experience in education, she strives to create engaging learning experiences that support every student in reaching their potential.Outside the classroom, Alice enjoys sewing, keeping fit, and travelling. She particularly loves discovering new places, cultures, and food. Oliver Onditi holds a Master of Education in Advanced Teaching from the University of the People and brings 15 years of professional experience in Mathematics education. He has taught MYP and IB DP Mathematics at Al Sahwa Schools in Muscat and the Aga Khan Academy in Nairobi, with expertise in Mathematics for Years 7–13.Passionate about meaningful and engaging learning, Oliver believes that Mathematics should be relevant, applicable, and connected to real-world contexts. He embraces a team-oriented approach and adapts his teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners while supporting curriculum and school goals. As the Head of Mathematics at Sri KDU Klang, he looks forward to fostering a positive learning environment where students can grow, thrive, and become happy learners. M Ghazi holds a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience, a PGCE, and an MA in Education, all from University College London. With 15 years of professional experience in education, he brings extensive expertise in teaching Mathematics and Science to students in Years 7–13. He currently serves as the Head of Science at Sri KDU International School Klang.Passionate about making Science meaningful and relevant, Ghazi believes that science makes the most sense when students can connect it to everyday life and future careers. He aims to bring learning to life through hands-on practical work, as well as opportunities for students to engage with scientists and experience university visits. Through these experiences, he hopes to inspire students to enjoy the subject while achieving their full potential.Outside the classroom, Ghazi enjoys sports and has travelled to more than 30 countries. He particularly enjoys being part of the Sri KDU Klang community because the students are a pleasure to teach.

Gabrie Supra is a dedicated and passionate educator with 17 years of professional experience, including teaching Design and Technology at EPG International School Kuwait. He works with students in Years 7–9 and is passionate about developing practical skills that students can apply beyond the classroom.At Sri KDU International School Klang, Gabrie is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that encourage creativity, leadership, and personal growth. He looks forward to contributing his experience and expertise while continuing to grow as part of the school community. Outside of school, he enjoys rugby, technology, and cooking. A fun fact about Gabrie is that he enjoys eating Nasi Kerabu.

Selina Small holds a BA in History and Politics from the University of Greenwich, a PGCE from Goldsmiths, University of London, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the Harris Federation, and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) from Ambition Institute. She brings 11 years of professional experience in education, with extensive experience in Humanities teaching and school leadership. Her previous roles include Head of Humanities at Trinity Academy London, Head of History at St Joseph’s College, and Teacher of Humanities at Harris Academy Bromley.As Secondary Assistant Head Teacher for Teaching, Learning & Curriculum, Selina is passionate about developing students who are curious, confident, and willing to question and challenge ideas. She believes students should be encouraged to explore diverse perspectives, think critically, and develop into engaged global citizens. Hor Theen Chii holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching from Open University Malaysia, completed in 2025, and is a Cambridge-qualified (CELTA) English teacher with 10 years of professional experience in education. He previously taught English at Mindrich International Secondary School from 2016 to 2019 and currently teaches English and Global Perspectives across Years 7–11.Passionate about supporting students beyond the classroom, Hor believes in serving with heart and commitment while encouraging students to develop strong character and confidence. He is particularly interested in leading character-building initiatives through the Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards and the School Editorial Board. He is also committed to contributing to a positive and collaborative school community where both students and colleagues can grow and thrive.Outside the classroom, Hor enjoys watching sports, documentaries, and movies, with a particular interest in the superhero genre. A fun fact about him is that although he is a Cambridge-qualified English teacher, English is actually his third language, after Cantonese and Malay. She brings nine years of professional experience in education, with a strong background in Cambridge and IGCSE Science. She previously taught at Rafflesia International School and has experience teaching Science across Years 7–11, with expertise in Biology and Chemistry.Passionate about developing the whole child, Thamilarasi believes in creating safe, happy, and inclusive learning environments where students can grow in confidence, character, curiosity, and achievement. As an Assistant Head Teacher for Student Progress and Student Achievement, she is committed to supporting students through their academic journey, helping them recognise their potential, and celebrating every step of their progress. She brings 12 years of professional experience across education, technology, and research, with expertise in Computing, ICT, and Computer Science. Her previous experience includes roles as an ICT Educator at Regent International School, Mathematics and Physics Teacher at Sunrise Homeschool, Research Assistant at Multimedia University, and Information Technology Help Desk Analyst at AIG Global Services (Malaysia).Passionate about empowering future-ready learners, Jennifer believes education should ignite curiosity, build confidence, and encourage every learner to reach their potential. As an EdTech Lead, she is committed to bringing innovation, collaboration, and future-focused learning into the school community, with a particular interest in AI, robotics, and technology-enhanced education.Outside the classroom, Jennifer enjoys fashion design, garment creation, creative crafting, yoga, and exploring new ideas. Hwa Li Li holds a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), completed in 2011, and a Master’s in Mathematics Education with Technology from Universiti Malaya (UM). With 14 years of teaching experience, she has taught Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for Years 7–13, including her role as a Mathematics Teacher at Tenby International School. Passionate about mathematics, Hwa Li Li strives to inspire students to appreciate the subject and develop strong mathematical thinking and problem solving skills. She is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence and apply mathematics to real-world situations. Outside the classroom, she enjoys playing golf and chess and looks forward to contributing to Sri KDU Klang’s friendly and supportive community.

Yong Ching Chaw holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Studies (Honours) and a Master of Arts in Chinese Studies (Honours) from Xiamen University Malaysia. With 5 years of professional experience, she serves as the Head of Mandarin, supporting Mandarin education across both Primary and Secondary levels. Passionate about language and learning, Yong Ching Chaw believes that learning begins with interest. She connects students’ everyday experiences and interests with Mandarin learning, encouraging them to think clearly, express their ideas confidently, and discover how the language shapes the way we speak, write, and think. She enjoys connecting with the younger generation and looks forward to supporting their growth within the Sri KDU Klang community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys learning new languages, particularly Japanese. A fun fact about her is that she dreamed of becoming an astronaut when she was in primary school.

Nur Ajeerah Binti Hashim holds a Master of Education in Visual Arts Education and brings 11 years of professional experience in Art and Design education. She previously served as an Art Teacher at Westlake International School from 2019 to 2022 and currently serves as the Head of Creative Arts at Sri KDU International School Klang, teaching Art to Years 4–11. Passionate about creativity, Nur Ajeerah believes that every student has unique creative potential. She strives to create a supportive and inspiring environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, creativity, and collaboration. She looks forward to creating memorable learning experiences alongside students and colleagues while contributing to Sri KDU Klang’s culture of growth and creativity. Outside the classroom, she enjoys cooking and painting and has a fun interest in exploring grocery store packaging.

Mirrah Nazihah Binti Jamali holds a Bachelor of Education (Guardian and Counselling) (Hons) and brings seven years of professional experience in education. She previously worked at Abedeen Academy from 2021 to 2023 and specialises in teaching Malay Language to students in Years 7 11.Passionate about making learning meaningful, engaging, and inclusive, Mirrah believes in creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to be curious, confident, and compassionate. She hopes to inspire students to develop a positive attitude towards learning while contributing meaningfully to the wider school community. At Sri KDU International School Klang, Mirrah is actively involved in the Sport Committee and enjoys being part of the school community through collaboration and participation in school activities. Outside the classroom, she enjoys bowling and travelling. A creative individual, Mirrah also has a talent for video editing and enjoys creating comics. She looks forward to continuing her professional growth and making a positive contribution to the Sri KDU Klang community.

Norazilawati Muhamad holds a Master in Education (Psychology) from the University of National and brings 20 years of professional experience in education. She previously served as a Primary School Teacher at Taylor’s International School from 2019 to 2020 and has extensive experience teaching Malay Language, including IGCSE Malay, with expertise in Years 3–6.Passionate about student success, Norazilawati believes in creating a positive, respectful, and supportive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to do their best. She values teamwork, continuous learning, and building strong relationships with students and colleagues. She looks forward to contributing to Sri KDU Klang’s collaborative and supportive community. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hiking and spending time in nature. She also loves exploring new places, trying different foods, and taking photos to capture memorable moments.

Azreena Abdul Aziz holds a Master’s in Music Education from Universiti Teknologi MARA, completed in 2024, and brings 10 years of teaching experience in international education. She has taught Music across the Cambridge curriculum and the International Baccalaureate, with experience spanning PYP, MYP, and IBDP. She previously worked at Beaconhouse Sri Inai International School. With a specialisation in Music Composition, particularly modern music and Western art music, Azreena believes in maintaining effective practices while continuously supporting meaningful learning experiences for her students. She hopes to bring her experience, creativity, and passion for music to the Sri KDU Klang community. Beyond the classroom, Azreena enjoys reading, flag football, and running marathons. A fun fact about her is that she can name Taylor Swift songs within one second! She especially enjoys being part of the Sri KDU Klang community because of the students and parents, whose enthusiasm and support make the school experience rewarding.

Korshala Roy Lourdes holds a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Education from the University of Greenwich, completed in 2020, and brings 12 years of professional experience in education. She has taught across a range of year groups and areas, including Science, English, Mathematics, and Inclusion Support, with experience teaching Year 6 at Tadika Sri Kenanga and Year 7 at Beaconhouse. Passionate about nurturing well-rounded learners, Korshala believes in creating a kind, creative, and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and develop compassion. She is committed to supporting both students and colleagues while contributing to a positive community where everyone can thrive. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading and cooking. A fun fact about Korshala is that she loves thrilling, exciting, and adrenaline-filled activities. Chuah Shiou Yin holds a Bachelor of Teaching with Honours, completed in 2016, and brings over 20 years of teaching experience in Mandarin education. She previously served as a Mandarin Teacher at Sunway International School in 2025 and has experience teaching Mandarin to Grade 4 and Grades 7–11. Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences, Chuah Shiou Yin believes in fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom where students feel confident to learn, grow, and become lifelong learners. She is committed to supporting diverse learners and encouraging students to develop confidence, responsibility, and a love for learning. She looks forward to embracing new experiences, connecting with the Sri KDU Klang community, and contributing to its supportive learning environment. Outside the classroom, she enjoys travelling, singing, crafting, exercising, watching movies and dramas, and spending time in nature. Thanaphon William Copter Brunt

Thanaphon William Copter Brunt holds a BA in Social Science and a PGCE in Sports from the University of Buckingham and brings nine years of professional experience in education, with a strong background in boarding and sports. He previously worked at Ashford School as a Boarding Master and Sports Teacher and has experience supporting students from Early Years through to Year 13. Passionate about holistic education, Thanaphon believes students thrive when they feel supported, engaged, and encouraged to learn from their mistakes while progressing at their own pace. In his role in boarding, he places particular emphasis on cultural understanding, personal growth, and helping students develop important life skills beyond academics. He hopes to positively impact students both in and out of the classroom while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive school community. Outside of school, Thanaphon enjoys playing golf and exploring good food. A fun fact about him is that he is terrified of public transport! He particularly enjoys being part of the Sri KDU Klang community because he values the opportunity to make a positive difference in students’ lives both inside and outside the classroom.

She brings 14 years of professional experience in education, having previously served as a Science Teacher and Year Leader at Nobel International School from 2012 to 2022. She teaches Science across Years 7 11.Passionate about making learning meaningful and enjoyable, Kam believes students should be empowered to discover their strengths and pursue their futures with hope and purpose. She is committed to creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and personal growth. Cathrina Tsen Yee Ting holds a Bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Hertfordshire, a Master in Education from Monash University, and a Certificate in TESOL, completed in 2023. With 24 years of professional experience, she brings a wealth of experience in education, including her role as Head of Secondary at Real International School from 2024 to 2025. She specialises in Mandarin for Years 1–11 and English as an Additional Language (EAL) for Years 7–11. Passionate about empowering students, Cathrina is committed to nurturing confident and resilient learners through meaningful learning, strong relationships, and a commitment to excellence. She values a supportive and collaborative school community and looks forward to contributing her experience and dedication to student success at Sri KDU Klang. With 7 years of professional experience, she has taught in international schools across Italy, China, Singapore and Malaysia, including roles at Qingdao Amerasia International School (2019 2023) and XCL World Education (2023 2026). Currently serving as Language & Literacy Faculty Leader at Sri KDU International School Klang, Alessia takes a holistic approach to language teaching, helping students achieve things they once thought they could not. She brings experience in EAL, Mandarin and Italian, and is passionate about creating a collaborative and consistent approach to language learning across the school. Outside the classroom, Alessia enjoys learning languages, travelling, cooking, surfing and staying active. A fun fact about her is that she can order dinner, teach a class and happily get lost in six different languages. Currently serving as a Teacher of English at Sri KDU International School Klang, George is an inclusive and reflective teacher who believes in building students’ confidence through high expectations and engaging learning. With 8 years of professional experience in education, she has held a range of PE and leadership roles, including PE Teacher and Head of PE at Fairview International School (2019–2023), Head of PE and CCA Coordinator at Straits International School (2023–2025), and Swimming Teacher at Sri Kuala Lumpur International School (2026). Currently serving as a PE Teacher at Sri KDU International School Klang, Sarah is passionate about inspiring students to develop a lifelong love for sport and physical activity. As a former national water polo player for Malaysia, she hopes to encourage greater participation in sports, particularly among girls. He previously worked at REAL Schools Shah Alam as an Early Years and SEN Teacher.Passionate about helping every child become more independent and confident, Selvam believes in supporting students to develop the skills they need to adapt to everyday life. With patience, understanding, and dedication, he embraces new challenges and continuously explores different approaches to support children, particularly those with special educational needs. He also brings expertise in aviation, safety, and security.Shafiq believes in leading with care, consistency, and accountability, ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and valued.
