It was a great end to the week with our first Classical Music Concert at Academic Street. The event marked the start of the peripatetic music programme, which will allow us to further support the musical development of our very talented young musicians. Thank you to everyone who came to support the children at the event.
Thank you to those parents who attended the PGA Coffee Morning this Wednesday. I appreciate the large numbers in attendance and the opportunity to speak to parents face-to-face.
Finally, I would like to wish all our students the very best for next week’s assessments.

Celebrating Anti-Bullying Week: See Something, Say Something, Do Something... Kind
This week, we proudly participated in Anti-Bullying Week to empower our students to stand up against bullying and celebrate the kindness and uniqueness within our school community. We kicked off the week with Odd Socks Day on Monday, celebrating what makes each of us a unique individual. Across all year groups, students engaged in age-appropriate activities to explore the importance of kindness, empathy, and positive actions.
Furthermore, we are excited to announce the launch of our Kindness Catalyst initiative! Throughout the week and going forward, any student who shows, speaks, or acts with exemplary kindness and compassion will be rewarded with a House Point, recognizing their positive contribution to our school environment.
From EY's Kindness Stars Craft and Y1-Y3's Kind Hands Artwork focused on positive behaviour, to Y4-Y6's "Walk in My Shoes" exploring empathy, and Y7-Y9's "Upstander Power" learning safe intervention strategies, every student contributed to a more supportive environment. Our older students in Y10-Y11 tackled the complexities of communication with the "Banter vs. Bullying" activity.
Now, let's dive into the fantastic collage below to see the creative and thoughtful work the students produced throughout the week! We encourage you to discuss these important themes with your children at home as we continue to work together to foster a culture of respect and inclusion.
Regards,
Rhys Thomas,
Campus Principal
