Primary Home-School Communication
Parent Engagement Program For Primary School
Good communication between home and school is crucial to ensure that every child is getting the best from the School’s learning opportunities. We are committed to working closely with parents to provide a support system that helps children thrive and succeed in school.
Good Communication
Partnering With Parents For Children’s Success
Family participation in a child’s schooling helps students to feel confident and enjoy learning. As such, we believe strongly in building relationships based on mutual trust and respect with students and parents so that we can share each child’s progress and learning in an honest and transparent way.
We are also committed to share information about our students with parents regularly to help support the student’s learning progress.
The communication will take a variety of forms:

We have a 48-hour response policy regarding parent queries. If a parent needs to see the Principal or Head of School urgently, an appointment will be arranged by the next working day after the request is received.
Getting the Best
Strengthening The School Community
We value parent feedback and we have several channels to engage with parents. The Principal runs a Parent Focus Group, to gather views and feedback about how the school is doing and areas for development. Any parent can join this group.
A regular parent forum is held to discuss school issues. This is attended by Parent Representatives who are nominated by parents of students from each respective class.
At the beginning of each year, a Meet the Teacher afternoon is held and Head Teacher Coffee Mornings are hosted throughout the year. Parents have the opportunity to visit their child's new classrooms and teachers upon joining the school and find out about what our school has to offer our students.
Parent workshops are also held throughout the year to explain our approach to teaching and learning, and what we achieve with the students.
Helps Children Thrive
Voice Of The Student Community
Students at our school are valued and respected. As such, students also have a say in the development of the school. Student feedback is delivered through student surveys and we have a Student Council to drive charity and community events.
