Dear Parents,
It has been a wonderful start to the new academic year, and there has been a real sense
of energy and excitement across the school since we opened our doors on Wednesday.
Seeing our students return so happily, reconnect with friends and settle so quickly into
their new classes has been a real pleasure. I have been particularly proud of how
confidently our new students have begun their journey with us and how warmly they
have been welcomed into the community. I had the pleasure of providing a number of
tours to visitors this week, not tours for prospective families, but tours for other
educators. Each has left sharing how impressed they were with the vibe of the building
and the tangible feeling of joy and belonging.
We also begin the year with much to celebrate academically. Our outstanding A Level
and IGCSE results are a testament to the hard work of our students, the expertise and
commitment of our teachers, and the support of our families. These outcomes give us
every reason to be proud and reinforce our continued commitment to delivering top
academic outcomes for every student. That confidence in our academic provision is also
reflected in the fact that we have opened this year with the largest Year 12 cohort in
the school’s history. It is particularly encouraging to see so many students and families
choosing to continue their journey with us into Sixth Form and placing their trust in
our A Level programme.
Beyond the classroom, the enthusiasm has been equally impressive. Nearly 1,900 CCA
places have already been requested ahead of activities beginning next week,
demonstrating just how eager our students are to get involved in the wider life of the
school.
It has also been a pleasure to see so many parents on campus during these opening
days. Thank you for your continued support, and particularly for your patience as we
roll out our new Management Information System. As with any significant change,
there will be a period of adjustment, and we are grateful for the understanding shown
as we embed the new systems and processes.
There is a great deal to look forward to this year. The way our students, staff and
families have returned has set a very positive tone, and I am excited to see what we will
achieve together over the months ahead.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Cassie Fleming,
Principal,
On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team.
SAFE, HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL
My son loves Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya. He enjoys good quality teachers who build his self-confidence and motivation. He is immersed in daily exchange of best practices with his fellow classmates. His learning is not confined to the classroom as lessons include physical education where various types of sports are available. Above all, his friends and classmates here are able to collaborate positively to bring out the best in one another.
We cannot possibly itemise every single reason he loves it here but this school is now his second home – and that is saying a lot!
