Dear Families,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to our first newsletter of the academic year! Each week we will share with you the latest updates, events, and highlights from our vibrant community.
Our Vision as a school is to inspire Safe, Happy, and Successful Learners who positively impact others. Our commitment to this vision drives every decision we make, from curriculum enhancements to community engagement initiatives. We are dedicated to creating an environment where each student thrives academically, socially, and emotionally, setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning.
We believe in a partnership between the school and parents that nurtures a holistic educational experience. We uphold five promises to our parents that underpin our approach:
1. Top Academic Outcomes: We strive for academic excellence, equipping our students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in a rapidly evolving world.
2. Future Proof Preparation: The world of tomorrow requires adaptable learners. We are committed to preparing our students for a future that demands creativity, critical thinking, and resilience.
3. Holistic Character Development: Academic achievements are complemented by the development of strong character. Our students are encouraged to be compassionate, ethical, and responsible global citizens.
4. Welfare and Safeguarding: The safety, well-being, and happiness of our students are paramount. We provide a nurturing environment where each child can thrive emotionally and physically.
5. Continuous Improvement: We believe in the power of growth and the transformative difference of just 1%. Through ongoing reflection and refinement, we ensure that we consistently offer the best possible education for our students.
We are not only dedicated to fostering the minds of our students but also nurturing their hearts. You will see later on in the newsletter activities and examples of the kindness week we have just hosted in school. It is bold to begin the year with a theme week, however, kindness should be at the forefront of all we do. As a leadership team I promised in the SLT coffee morning last week, we will lead with our hearts. Our children must also learn this from us.
I would like to thank in advance our whole community – parents, students, and staff, for the work we will do together in the year ahead. We encourage you to stay connected through this newsletter, as well as our various communication channels. Your involvement is
invaluable in creating a thriving school community and ensuring we are working together for your child. Don’t hesitate to be in touch with us, no query is too small if it relates to your child.
To those families celebrating yesterday, Selamat menyambut Hari Merdeka ke-66!
On behalf of the Senior Leadership Team

My son loves Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya. He enjoys good quality teachers who build his self-confidence and motivation. He is immersed in daily exchange of best practices with his fellow classmates. His learning is not confined to the classroom as lessons include physical education where various types of sports are available. Above all, his friends and classmates here are able to collaborate positively to bring out the best in one another.
We cannot possibly itemise every single reason he loves it here but this school is now his second home – and that is saying a lot!
