Dear Parents,
As we close the second term, it has been a crucial period of transition, preparation, and
decision-making for many of our students. For our Year 6 students, the gradual transition
process into secondary school is well underway. They have begun exploring life in the
secondary section, familiarising themselves with new expectations and routines. This
process will continue in Term 3 with engaging taster sessions and full transition days to
ensure they feel confident and excited about the next step in their educational journey.
For our Year 9 students, this term has been pivotal in shaping their IGCSE pathways.
Through structured guidance sessions and discussions, we have helped them reflect on
their strengths, interests, and future aspirations. The conversations around subject selection
have been invaluable, ensuring that students make well-informed choices as they move into
Key Stage 4.
A special mention must be made of Ms. Rahman, who has worked closely with our Year 11
students, providing one-on-one mentoring to support them in selecting their A-Level
subjects. Her dedication has been instrumental in guiding them through this significant
decision-making process, helping them align their choices with their future ambitions. We
wish all our Year 11 students the very best as they enter the final stretch of their IGCSE
journey, with their first exam—ICT—scheduled for the 2nd of April. Good luck!
In addition to academic guidance, we wrapped up the term with a fantastic Awards
Ceremony, celebrating the outstanding achievements of our students. Awards were
presented across various categories, including sports, academics, house points, and
attendance, recognising the hard work and dedication of so many students. Well done to all
our wonderful students for their achievements this term!
Beyond academics, this term has also been filled with exciting opportunities. As a wonderful
way to end the term, we are delighted to announce that our students will be embarking on
their much-anticipated ski trip tonight! We wish them a fantastic adventure and look
forward to hearing all about their experiences when they return.
Wishing all our students and families a restful and enjoyable break. We look forward to
welcoming everyone back for a productive and exciting Term 3!
Have a lovely weekend,

My son loves Sri KDU International School Subang Jaya. He enjoys good quality teachers who build his self-confidence and motivation. He is immersed in daily exchange of best practices with his fellow classmates. His learning is not confined to the classroom as lessons include physical education where various types of sports are available. Above all, his friends and classmates here are able to collaborate positively to bring out the best in one another.
We cannot possibly itemise every single reason he loves it here but this school is now his second home – and that is saying a lot!
