Dear Parents and Guardians,
A shortened week, but a very busy week, nonetheless. Yearbook photographs in full
swing across the campus. Meanwhile, children performing in the charity concert are
polishing their acts ready to wow the audience on Friday, and at the moment we are
over the RM 10K mark in terms of ticket sales and donations. It would be wonderful to
reach the RM15K. After the charity concert and my final address, we will move into the
traditional class parties, so please see the message below. The children will be allowed
to wear non-uniform on that day. However, the clothes should be respectful in terms of
t-short logos, no miniskirt or micro shorts, no vests showing shoulders or low cut. The
same jewellery and make up rules as per uniform day will apply. If anyone is unsure,
they should ask Mr. Chang or their Class/Form Tutors.
Today was a very lovely day! This morning, I had a delightful time at the Primary
Commencement, Early Years and Year 6 Graduation. The programme was packed with
the EYFS and Year 6 showing off their talents. This afternoon was quite an emotional
Year 11 graduation ceremony, for me, with a ballet and singing performance and the
usual video montage. A big thank you to all those involved in the preparations for the
event and the performances, staff and students. I would like to thank all parents for
their attendance at the events, and it was great so many parents.
Lastly, on Wednesday morning, 26th June, I will be hosting a PTA coffee morning from
8:30am to 9:30am as an opportunity to say goodbye, and this will be an informal
gathering. If you can drop by to say farewell, I would very much appreciate it. Or else, I
will see you in MPH on Thursday.
Wishing everyone a pleasant weekend.
Regards,
April Peters
Information for your action:
PTC: Thursday 27th June 9:00 am to 5:00pm in the MPH
I hope to see as many of you as possible at the final PTC. As usual we will ask you to
RSVP via a separate email. On the day, we have a dental practice offering free health
screening, so please see the note below.
Class Parties on final day:
After the charity concert, the usual end of year parties will commence. Your child's
class teacher/form tutor will liaise with the children to ensure the right amount of food
is brought in to school to hopefully reduce the waste.
PLEASE ENSURE the food is for all to share, considers any allergies in the class and
that all food is NUT FREE.
End of school year preparations: Lockers
Students need to ensure that they have cleared lockers and that they are left OPEN by
end of school Wednesday or during the PTC.
Primary students may wish to start taking belongings back each day, so as not to have
to carry all items in one go.
Thursday 27th June: FREE dental checks from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Parkhill Dental Practice has offered to come in to offer free dental screening for our
students. Please note the school does not endorse this business, but the offer of free
dental screening we thought may be usual to parents.
Library book returns or loan extensions deadline: 26th June
Please ensure that you children return library books or arrange an extension over the
summer holiday by Wednesday, 26th June, otherwise fines will be imposed over the
summer holiday. Please speak to Mr. Syamsul for any questions.
Library book fines: there are a number of students that need to pay existing library
fines. We will be sending out emails but parents. please, do check with your child and
then load their Vircle card to enable them to pay. If the book has been lost, then please
inform Mr. Syamsul. For any questions, please do speak to him as well.
