5-Star Rating by the Ministry of Education Malaysia
Sri KDU Primary School was awarded the Quality Standards Award with a 5-star rating by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

Member of UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet)
The UNESCO Associated Schools Network (ASPnet) links educational institutions across the world around a common goal: to build the defences of peace in the minds of children and young people. Over 11,500 ASPnet member schools in 182 countries work in support of international understanding, peace, intercultural dialogue, sustainable development and quality education in practice.
Sri KDU Primary school was endorsed as a member of ASPnet in December 2019 making us the first private primary school in Malaysia to be endorsed as a member.
The following are the benefits of being a member of ASPnet:-
- more meaningful and hands-on learning opportunities for students;
- more diverse learning opportunities for teachers;
- have access to thematic guidance, expert knowledge and teaching and learning resources from UNESCO;
- opportunities for participation in global campaigns, celebrations and competitions on UNESCO priorities;
- connecting, collaborating or twinning with partner schools in over 180 countries around the world;
- mutual learning and peer advice from exchanges with fellow ASPnet principals, teachers and students around the world; and
- access to opportunities for teachers and students to participate in national, regional or international conferences.

WWF Eco-Schools Programme Green Flag Award
The WWF Eco-Schools Programme Award is a prestigious, internationally recognised and respected eco-label of high performance for schools with the best environmental education ideology. Sri KDU Secondary School was awarded the Green Flag Award in April 2021, upon executing The Eco-Schools Seven Steps methodology as shown below:

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is one of the many student enrichment and character building programmes offered by Sri KDU Secondary School since 2012. Sri KDU Secondary School was established as an International Award Centre (IAC) for the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award on 2014 by the Award Foundation. We offer the Bronze Level Award to Secondary 1 & Secondary 2 students, and the Silver Level Award is offered to Secondary 3 and Secondary 4 students.
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award was founded by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip. It is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of practical, cultural and adventurous activities, designed to support the personal and social development of young people. It offers an individual challenge and encourages young people to undertake exciting, constructive and enjoyable activities in their free time. Other benefits for the participants include developing or discovering a sense of achievement, new skills and interests, self-confidence and self-reliance, leadership skills and experience of teamwork and decision making.
