Assessment & Reporting
There are two types of assessments here in Sri KDU:
The Formative Assessment is in line with the requirement set by MoE, which emphasizes the importance of classroom-based assessment as a fundamental component. It is a formative and ongoing assessment, to check students’ understanding and ability in achieving the intended learning outcomes set. Teachers assess and track students’ progress using mastery levels, through a variety of tools, activities, projects and opportunities presented during their lessons.
The Summative Assessment is a test carried out twice a year to test and evaluate students’ understanding over the semester. These tests are administered in class and they cover a wide range of topics learnt and explored.
Teachers conduct Tutor Time after each assessment to coach students who have been identified as needing extra assistance to help them progress further in a particular subject.
Sri KDU Primary School students have maintained high standards in various assessments and the school ranks among the top in Selangor.
