Dear Parents
Today marked the grand finale of a truly spectacular sports week with our Year 3 to 13
Sports Day at the Panasonic Arena. The arena was alive with energy, as students from
across the school showcased their athletic prowess and school spirit. This event has
brought back fond memories from my own school days, and I’m certain that many of our
students will look back on this week with great pride and joy for many years to come.
Throughout this week, our students have demonstrated remarkable teamwork,
camaraderie, resilience, and determination, embodying the core values of our school. One
of the highlights for me this week were the charity walkathons, where students not only
engaged in physical activity but also contributed to a worthy cause, reinforcing the
importance of community and giving back. The Choice Day was another exciting event,
offering students the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones and try new activities
ranging from circus skills to karate. These diverse experiences have not only been fun but
have also given our students an opportunity to try out new activities, although they were
perhaps not their first ‘choice’.
In addition to the sports, this week we also celebrated a significant milestone for our Year
11 and 13 students—their graduation. This ceremony was a poignant reminder of the hard
work, dedication, and achievements of our graduating students. It was a joy to see them
celebrated for their perseverance and the countless hours of study and effort they have
invested over the years. Their success is a source of pride for the entire school community,
and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours and know that when their results
are shared in 7 weeks time, we will again share our pride in them with the community.
As we look ahead, next week marks the final week of the term, which sees the Year 6s
graduate from Primary School, another significant milestone in our students' educational
journeys. This ceremony will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their achievements
and to reflect on their growth and progress over the years.
We would like to remind all families that there will be no Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs)
next week. Please make the necessary arrangements to collect your child at the end of the
school day.
As we close conclude the busy week, I would like to extend our thanks to everyone who has
contributed to its success. From the dedicated PE Team, who organised and facilitated the
events to the enthusiastic participation of our students and the unwavering support of our
parent volunteers - each of you has played a vital role in making this week special.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable weekend.

We visited numerous international schools in Klang-Valley and Sri KDU Subang Jaya was not even on our list. Reason being it is way out of our travelling radius. However, we are glad we made the visit to the school before our final call, and it was the best decision ever! It was a huge transition period for us during the first 2 weeks into school, but the school’s team (Teachers, Administrative and Parent’s Teacher Association) made us feel right at home. We were given clear guidance and was kept well informed on the happenings in the school. My daughter blended into the community quite well with the care provided by the Homeroom teacher. All the teachers here are the kindest, as she told me. She looks forward to going to school and has become more disciplined in terms on knowing what tasks she needs to complete daily. She has gained so much confidence during this short period of time and was given the encouragement to explore and develop her abilities here. She was just selected as the new Primary House Captain for Year 6 AY2022/2023.
Every parent want to find the ‘perfect’ school for their child and are afraid of making the wrong decision. For us, as long she is safe and happy, we believe, she will eventually find the way to her own success.
