Accreditation
As a school we are members of several organisations and have been accredited by a number of them accordingly.
ISQM
We are delighted to share that Sri KDU International School has maintained our International School Quality Mark (ISQM) at Gold Level. The re-accreditation inspection which was due in March 2020, was postponed by the MCO due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The inspection was completed remotely by three inspectors over four days to circumvent the existing international travel ban. Despite the challenges posed by a virtual inspection, the report published is a testament to the quality of the teaching and learning at SKIS as students and teachers impressed the inspectors and SKIS once again achieved the highest possible award.
Back in February 2017, SKID became the first school in Malaysia to be awarded with the ISQM at Gold Level by the Education Development Trust (formerly CfBT). The ISQM verification inspection is a recognised school accreditation for international schools which provides objective assurance that the school meets rigorous quality standards.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award
Sri KDU International School was established as an International Award Centre (IAC) for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award on 1st April 2014 by the Award Foundation. In delivering the Award we work hard to engage young people in purposeful activities focused on gaining knowledge, broadening horizons and accumulating a diversity of experiences. Promote positive youth development for young people to develop skills complementing their formal education. Build values of commitment, service to others, leadership, team working, determination and independence. Students in Year 10 start the Bronze Level Award in September, with students entering Year 11 being able to access the Silver Level Award. We run a Gold Level Award for Y12/13 students.
We visited numerous international schools in Klang-Valley and Sri KDU Subang Jaya was not even on our list. Reason being it is way out of our travelling radius. However, we are glad we made the visit to the school before our final call, and it was the best decision ever! It was a huge transition period for us during the first 2 weeks into school, but the school’s team (Teachers, Administrative and Parent’s Teacher Association) made us feel right at home. We were given clear guidance and was kept well informed on the happenings in the school. My daughter blended into the community quite well with the care provided by the Homeroom teacher. All the teachers here are the kindest, as she told me. She looks forward to going to school and has become more disciplined in terms on knowing what tasks she needs to complete daily. She has gained so much confidence during this short period of time and was given the encouragement to explore and develop her abilities here. She was just selected as the new Primary House Captain for Year 6 AY2022/2023.
Every parent want to find the ‘perfect’ school for their child and are afraid of making the wrong decision. For us, as long she is safe and happy, we believe, she will eventually find the way to her own success.
